NATO countries are studying Ukraine's successful experience in destroying a significant portion of the Russian Black Sea Fleet through the effective use of maritime drones and other technologies, in the context of developing modern naval combat tactics.

This was confirmed to Ukrinform by Rear Admiral Timothy Henry, Deputy Commander of NATO's Joint Force Command in Norfolk, Virginia, USA.

"We look beyond the present moment, taking lessons from what is happening now, from current realities, and also considering where technology might lead us in the next three, five, ten years," the admiral noted in response to a question about whether Alliance countries are studying Ukraine's combat experience in the Black Sea and how it might influence future naval combat tactics.

The Deputy Commander emphasized that the Alliance carefully considers advanced experiences in all regions where maritime armed conflict occurs. This includes the tactics of Ukrainian defenders in the Black Sea, the situation in the Red Sea, and developments in the Gulf of Aden.

The admiral also stressed that NATO's success lies in its ability to observe developments and adapt well to changes.
