Agroholding NIBULON can transport 50,000 to 60,000 tons of products per month to the Romanian port of Constanța using its own fleet.
This was reported by the company's logistics director, Serhiy Kalkutin.
It is noted that NIBULON's entry into the market of the Middle and Upper Danube allows Ukrainian producers to expand their export horizons, while European partners gain access to global markets, quality logistics, and cargo solutions.
As clarified by logistics director Serhiy Kalkutin, the freight transport market in the Middle and Upper Danube is quite competitive. However, NIBULON's advantages — a modern universal fleet and digital cargo handling services — make it confident in the mature European market.
"Currently, on the Danube, we operate nine of our own tugs and 11 barges, capable of transporting up to 50,000–60,000 tons of products per month to Constanța. This allows us to form various types of barge-tug caravans and combinations for delivering goods on these routes. There is demand for transporting grain, fertilizers, metallurgical products, and more," said the logistics director of the holding.
He added that NIBULON's expansion is important for the entire Ukrainian agricultural market, which needs stable and diversified logistics solutions.
"We are convinced that the Danube should remain a full alternative to deep-water ports for Ukrainian exports. And ‘Nibulon’ is ready to be the driving force behind this process," concluded Serhiy Kalkutin.
