Nova Poshta continues to invest in green energy: a second solar power station (SPS) has started operation at one of its Kyiv terminals, according to the company's official press release. The new SPS has a capacity of 700 kW, with solar panels covering an area of 3,000 square meters.

The project cost amounted to 13.5 million UAH.

Nova Poshta is not stopping at this achievement and plans further expansion of solar energy use. In the near future, the next phase of solar power stations will be installed, increasing the total capacity from 700 to 1,400 kW.

It is expected that during the summer, when solar activity is at its peak, the stations will operate at full capacity. This will allow the terminals to meet their daily electricity needs entirely.

Additionally, Nova Poshta has invested in energy storage systems (ESS). These systems will store excess electricity generated by the solar panels and allow it to be used when needed—both for internal company needs and for transfer to the external grid.
