The Nova Post group of companies has opened its first Nova Post branch in Riga, the capital of Latvia. According to the company's press release, this Nova Post branch in Riga operates seven days a week, and customers can send and receive documents, parcels, and packages weighing up to 100 kg to and from Ukraine.

The delivery cost from Ukraine to Latvia is as follows: 250 UAH for documents, as well as 400 UAH, 600 UAH, and 1,200 UAH for parcels weighing up to 2 kg, 10 kg, and 30 kg, respectively. For packages weighing from 30 to 100 kg, an additional charge of 40 UAH per kilogram is applied. The delivery time from Ukraine to Latvia or vice versa is 5 days.

Additionally, the Nova Post app allows customers in Latvia to request a courier service on-site.

"You can request a courier via the website and mobile app. Delivery or pick-up by a courier from the address incurs an additional cost of +100 UAH for shipments up to 30 kg or +250 UAH for each 100 kg," the company's announcement specifies.

Nova Post has already opened 68 branches in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, and Moldova. The company plans to expand its presence to Hungary, Italy, France, and Austria by the end of the year.

As of the beginning of July 2023, Nova Post's network in Ukraine includes over 10,000 branches and more than 14,000 parcel lockers. The group comprises Ukrainian and international companies, including Nova Post, NP Logistic, the NovaPay payment system, and Nova Post Global.
