Odessa-based IT firm Digis announces merger with Scalamandra outsourcing company, deal valued at up to $1 million

Founder of Digis, Mykita Nahatkin, estimates the deal value to be between $500,000 and $1 million, reports Forbes Ukraine.

The decision to create a strategic partnership with Scalamandra was driven by Nahatkin's personal investments in the company in 2023. The partnership idea revolves around providing functional programming services to existing and potential clients, as well as assisting these companies in transitioning to other programming languages when necessary.

Digis is an international software development company founded in 2015 by Nick Nagatkin (included in the Forbes "30 under 30" list in Europe in the technology sector.. Currently, the company employs 200 professionals specializing in turnkey product development and outsourcing services.

The company has offices in Cyprus, Odessa, and Bucharest. Among Digis' clients are PwC, BlaBlaCar, HubSpot, Huma, and others. The company does not disclose its revenue figures, only stating that they are growing.

Scalamandra, with a team of 15 people, was founded in 2020. It specializes in functional programming outsourcing for rare engineers proficient in the Scala programming language.
