Russian authorities in the Samara region reported a drone attack. Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said air defence systems had been activated. Meanwhile, Ukrainian company Fire Point confirmed a strike on the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery.
OSINT analysis by the Telegram channel ASTRA also confirmed that the oil refinery in Novokuibyshevsk, which produces jet fuel for the Russian military, was on fire.

The refinery belongs to Rosneft, has an annual processing capacity of 8.3 million tonnes and produces more than 20 types of petroleum products.
The facility has been repeatedly targeted by drones, most recently on 22 August.
On the night of 30 October, Ukrainian drones attacked the town of Starodub in Russia's Bryansk region. According to photographs and videos posted by local residents and analysed by ASTRA, the Konservsushprod enterprise was hit. A major fire broke out on the factory premises following the attack.
The company's website describes it as a long-established manufacturer and supplier of canned food and individual field rations for Russian security agencies and the Armed Forces. The company also holds the rights to the "Army of Russia" brand. The enterprise was previously targeted in 2023 and 2025.
Meanwhile, all Moscow airports were once again temporarily closed amid overnight drone attacks.
Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsiya, announced temporary restrictions on aircraft arrivals and departures at Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky and Sheremetyevo airports. Yaroslavl Airport was also closed.
