German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who arrived in Kyiv on Monday morning, announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth €650 million.
"Germany will remain Ukraine's strongest supporter in Europe. During my meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky, I will announce additional weapons worth €650 million, which are to be delivered in December," Scholz wrote on the social media platform X on Monday morning.
"Ukraine can count on us. We say what we do, and we do what we say," emphasized the German Chancellor.
Earlier, the DPA news agency reported that Scholz had arrived in Kyiv, publishing a photo of him on the platform of the Kyiv railway station.
