One of the peculiarities of modern combat operations is the active use of robotic and unmanned systems in combat operations, as reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

"I recently worked at one of the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where testing of various forms of integrated use of ground and aerial robotic and unmanned systems in real combat conditions is underway. This is a very important project, and we are achieving initial successes in its implementation," he stated in his Telegram channel on Friday evening.

He emphasized that his highest priority now is the rapid practical implementation of innovative combat unmanned and robotic platforms for ground and aerial bases in the military.

He reminded that one of the features of modern combat operations is the active use of robotic and unmanned systems in combat operations, noting that they can be used to ensure the withdrawal of personnel from the most dangerous zones and replace them with robots.

"Together with the Minister of Defense's team, we are making maximum efforts to prepare systemic solutions for the effective use of a wide range of robotic platforms," stressed the Commander-in-Chief.

Syrskyi explained that the current main goal is to minimize the path from technical invention by scientists in the laboratory to production and then to combat units.

"The next step is to practice tactics for using combat ground robotic complexes, preparing calculations, and scaling up the units of unmanned aerial vehicles in combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, practicing methods and ways of using unmanned systems in various types of combat," he added.
