Russian forces have nearly doubled the number of clashes on the Tavriyskyi (Taurian) direction. Meanwhile, Ukrainian fighters continue to inflict significant losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment.
This information was reported by the Facebook page of the Unified Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria axis and the Telegram channel of the commander of the Operational-strategic grouping of troops "Tavria", Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.
"The Russian occupiers have again increased the number of clashes, almost two times. They continue to actively carry out air strikes and shell our positions with artillery," said Tarnavskyi.
In total, on the Tavriyskyi direction, Russian forces conducted 25 air strikes, 1 missile strike, engaged in 47 combat clashes, and carried out 875 artillery shelling.
There remains a high threat of the enemy using missile weapons and drones against military and civilian infrastructure objects.
In the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Tavria" responsibility zone on the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, which does not abandon attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers hold the defense steadfastly, inflicting significant losses on the invaders.
During the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 13 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, and another 19 attacks in the areas of Severne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
On the Mariupol direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to restrain the enemy near Hryhorivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where 14 attacks were repelled.
On the Shakhtarsk direction, the occupiers did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.
On the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack in the area of Robotine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
