Russian forces are once again actively using guided aerial bombs, according to the commander of the operational-strategic group of forces "Tavria," Olexander Tarnavsky.
According to him, the Russian forces carried out "16 air strikes in a day. All except one were in Donetsk region."
As the commander noted, the number of infantry attacks remains at the same level. The most active enemy is near Avdiivka and on the Mariupol direction. In total, the Russians engaged in 32 military clashes, carried out 864 artillery shelling, and one missile strike.
The overall losses of Russians in the past day amounted to 466 people and 52 units of military equipment. This includes 8 tanks, 7 armored combat vehicles, 16 artillery systems, 32 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 4 units of special equipment, and 15 vehicles.
Ukrainian soldiers destroyed the anti-aircraft missile system "Buk-M," the self-propelled artillery unit 2S19 "Msta-S," and the self-propelled mortar 2S4 "Tulpan" with a caliber of 240 mm, Tarnavsky reported, adding, "4 enemy ammunition depots went up in the air."
Earlier, Brigadier General Olexander Tarnavsky reported that about 20 Russian soldiers surrendered to captivity in the operational zone of the Ukrainian Armed Forces "Tavria."
