This was reported during a national telethon by the head of the United Coordination Press Center for the Defense of Southern Ukraine, Natalia Humenyuk.
'The night was restless again. The enemy once again used drone strikes and employed tactical aviation, directing guided aerial bombs towards the Kherson region,' said Humenyuk.
According to her, the enemy used 18 aerial bombs that were directed towards civilian infrastructure and residential areas. 'Both a hospital and critical infrastructure facilities have been damaged. It's evident that it's an act of enemy terror,' she noted.
Humenyuk explained that the drone attack was not very massive, suggesting that the enemy was likely attempting to scout the location of air defense forces. She specified that the drones were launched from the southeast direction, but the route taken was 'not entirely familiar.
"They were launched from the southeast, from the Azov coast. They were directed along a route that was not entirely familiar. Primarily, they went over the Kherson region, but the clear direction was towards Kryvyi Rih. Three drones were destroyed there, and one was destroyed in the Kherson region, but there was also an impact on one of the industrial enterprises. The drones also struck the Kherson region. Once again, purely civilian infrastructure has been damaged, including agricultural factories," added Humenyuk.
Due to Russian aggression, one person has been killed, and six others have been injured, including two children.
