At the front, there have been 120 combat engagements, 29 of which occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where 129 Russian troops were neutralized.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page at 22:00 on March 18, 2025.
"Overall, since the beginning of the day, 120 combat engagements have taken place. Russian forces launched one missile strike using three missiles and 43 airstrikes, employing 54 KABs. In addition, they deployed 755 kamikaze drones and carried out about 4,200 shelling attacks on our forces' positions and settlements," the publication states.
According to the General Staff, in the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops stormed our positions near Vovchansk and toward Mala Shapkivka. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 10 attempts by the Russian troops to advance. Kozacha Lopan was subjected to an airstrike.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces conducted five offensive actions near Petropavlivka and Zahrizov. Ukrainian units stopped all Russian attacks.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops stormed the positions of the Defense Forces 12 times near Yampolivka, Nadiya, and in the direction of Zeleny Dolyna and Novy.
In the Siversk direction, Russian troops stormed the positions of our units twice near the settlement of Verkhnokamyanske.
Since the beginning of the day, in the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces attacked in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, Predtechyne, and Orihovo-Vasylivka. Five attempts by Russian troops to dislodge our defenders from their positions were unsuccessful, and one engagement is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, 21 engagements occurred today. Russian forces stormed Ukrainian positions in the areas of Ozaryanivka, Druzhba, and Toretsk. Two engagements are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian forces attacked 29 times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandropil, Zeleny Pole, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Kotlyne, Preobrazhenka, Kotlyarivka, Bohdanivka, Yaseneve, Zviriv, Udachne, Oleksiivka, and Andriyivka. Our defenders repelled 25 assaults, and 4 engagements are ongoing.
As of today, 129 Russian troops were neutralized in this direction, 78 of them irreversibly. In addition, Ukrainian forces destroyed six vehicles, four mortars, one buggy, a motorcycle, and a UAV control point. They also damaged two tanks, two vehicles, and a cannon.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 Russian attacks near Kostyantynopil.
In the Hulyaypole direction, Russian forces unsuccessfully attempted to advance twice in the direction of Pryvilne and Vilne Pole. Russian aviation launched four strikes on the areas of Yehorivka, Hulyaypole, and Zaliznychnyi.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the areas of Shcherbaky and Stepove.
In the Dnipropetrovsk direction, Russian forces unsuccessfully attempted to attack our positions three times.
In the Kursk region, the Defense Forces repelled 21 assault actions by Russian troops.
