The three-hundred-and-fourth day of the large-scale Russian invasion continues.
The Russian occupiers continue to violate the norms of international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of warfare. Thus, during the day, the enemy launched 3 missile strikes on civilian objects in the Zaporizhzhia region. It also carried out more than 10 attacks from rocket salvo systems.
The enemy is concentrating its efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Avdiiv directions and is trying to improve the tactical position in the Kupiansk direction.
The situation has not changed significantly in the Volyn, Polissya and Siversk directions. The enemy maintains a military presence, however, no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected.
In the Slobozhansk direction, areas of the settlements of Guryiv Kozachok, Kozacha Lopan, Kudiivka, Strelecha, Ternova, Staritsa, Vovchansk, Nesterne, Zemlianka, Khatne and Ambarne of the Kharkiv region were hit by mortar and artillery fire.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Novomlynsk, Kupyansk, Kislivka, Tabaivka, and Krokhmalne of the Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka and Myasozharivka of the Luhansk region.
In the Lyman direction, the invaders inflicted fire damage on Makiivka, Chervopopivka, and Dibro in the Luhansk region, as well as Terny in Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy fired tanks, mortars, barrels and jet artillery in the areas of the settlements of Spirne, Berestov, Vesele, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Opytne, Stupochki, Klishchiivka, Bila Gora, Diliivka, Kleban-Bik , Ozaryanivka, North and New York of Donetsk region.
Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Nevelske, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region were shelled in the Avdiyivka direction. On the Novopavlivskyi direction, Vugledar, Novoukrainka, Velyka Novosilka, and Vremivka of the Donetsk region came under the fire of the occupiers.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Malynivka, Chervone, Charivne, Biloghirya, Novodanilivka, Mali Shcherbaki and Stepove in the Zaporizhia region and Marganets and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy continues to terrorize the civilian population. The civil infrastructure of Chervonogrigorivka, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Burgunka, Antonivka, and Kherson were affected by shelling. There are dead and wounded among peaceful Ukrainian citizens.
In Gornostaevka, Kherson region, the Russian occupiers imposed a 24-hour curfew in the period from December 25, 2022 to January 3, 2023. For almost 10 days, local residents are prohibited from leaving their homes and moving around the settlement.
During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out 3 strikes on areas where the enemy's personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. And our rocket launchers and gunners struck two areas of concentration of manpower and the S-300 anti-aircraft missile complex of the occupiers.
