Recently, part of the captured Zaporizhzhya NPP began to be under control the mercenary formation of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov - the special rapid reaction detachment "Akhmat".
This was announced by the Center for National Resistance, created by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The occupiers are constantly strengthening security at the station, and the number of posts has increased, which indicates that they feel insecure. It is known that recently part of the station has been controlled by Kadyrov's gang - SOBR "Akhmat", who placed his equipment and weapons directly in the turbine halls No. 1 and No. 2," the message says.
The center also reported that the Russian Federation is trying to connect the Zaporizhzhya NPP to its energy system as soon as possible.
The occupiers hastily carry out measures to transfer the spent nuclear fuel storage system at the ZNPP to Russian standards, and also adapt all nuclear reactors of the ZNPP to use Russian fuel assemblies. Currently, four of the six nuclear reactors at ZNPP operate using fuel assemblies from the American company Westinghouse Electric Company.
