The United States continues to closely monitor the situation regarding military cooperation between Russia, North Korea, and Iran and will respond to attempts by other countries to enhance Russia's military-industrial potential. Deputy Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh stated this at a briefing at the U.S. Department of Defense.
"We are concerned about the deepening of relations between North Korea, Russia, and Iran. These efforts embolden the Russians on the battlefield in Ukraine, where they continue to wage an unlawful war, killing innocent Ukrainian civilians," said the Pentagon representative.
According to her, the United States continues to track the situation. Additionally, the U.S. is enhancing cooperation with allies in the region, continuing to arm Ukraine with the necessary means for the battlefield, and imposing sanctions against those who assist Russia in the war.
At the same time, the Pentagon representative did not confirm the existence of information suggesting that North Korea may be sending its citizens to Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine.
