Czechia is trying to deliver ammunition to Ukraine 'as quickly as possible, said Czech President Petr Pavel.

"The production of the necessary amount of ammunition takes time. This requires an increase in the capacity of our production. But Ukraine needs ammunition now. We cannot wait for European companies, so we are trying to find ammunition wherever we can. Delivering it to Ukraine as quickly as possible. But at the same time, we are increasing our own capacities," he said, responding to a question from Radio Free Europe journalist.

Petr Pavel expects that in the near future, Europe will be able to produce the 'necessary amount of ammunition.'

"In the near future, European companies will be able to produce the necessary amount of ammunition to replenish the stocks of European countries and also to provide Ukraine with ammunition if it still needs them in the near future," added the President of Czechia.
