Polish farmers plan to start a new strike on November 23 at 9:00 AM in front of the Medyka — Shehyni border crossing. The restrictions will only apply to trucks; buses and passenger cars will be allowed through, according to the Lviv Customs, citing the Polish side.
"According to preliminary information from the Polish side, local farmers plan to begin the strike in front of the Medyka-Shehyni border crossing on November 23 at 9:00 AM Kyiv time," the Lviv Customs reported on their website on Friday.
The protesters plan to allow buses and passenger cars to pass in both directions. Restrictions will apply to trucks—one truck will be allowed into Ukraine per hour, while trucks weighing over 3.5 tons will be fully blocked from exiting, the report added.
The Lviv Customs stated that vehicle processing is currently proceeding as usual.
"In case of the strike beginning and further changes in the situation, we will provide additional updates," they noted on the website.
