During a working visit to Poltava, President Volodymyr Zelensky visited a relocated company specializing in the production of motor vehicles and defense industry enterprises. In the presence of the Head of State, the Ministry of Defense signed two defense contracts with manufacturers worth nearly 5 billion UAH.
"Thank you for your work. It is very important to keep the economy active in Ukraine. It supports our soldiers and much more," the President said, addressing the employees of the relocated company.
The company's executive director informed the Head of State that before the full-scale Russian invasion, the company was located in the Kharkiv region. Due to constant shelling and direct hits on the enterprise, it was relocated to Poltava in July 2022.
Volodymyr Zelensky was shown samples of the company's products, including trailers and special vehicles.
The President also spoke with the workers, including local residents and internally displaced persons. Special attention was given to strengthening air defense and ensuring a stable electricity supply.
