On March 5, Russian forces launched a missile strike on a hotel in Kryvyi Rih, killing four people and injuring more than 30. Search and rescue operations completed at the missile strike site in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Telegram.
"Search and rescue operations at the missile strike site in Kryvyi Rih have been completed," the statement reads.
In total, four people were killed in the Russian attack. Thirty-two civilians were injured, including two children—a 13-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy.
Foreign volunteers staying at the hotel were unharmed thanks to their quick response to the air raid alert.
"Literally before the strike, volunteers from one of the humanitarian organizations checked into the hotel—citizens of Ukraine, the USA, and the UK. They survived because they managed to descend from their rooms," the president of Ukreain said, adding that the debris clearing at the impact site is ongoing.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported that the families of the deceased will later receive a financial compensation of 300,000 UAH from the regional budget. On March 7, a day of mourning will be declared in Kryvyi Rih.
