The Swiss charity association Free Ukraine, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, has delivered seven fully-equipped medical transport vehicles based on Toyota Land Cruiser J78 SUVs to medical institutions in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Poltava, Ternopil, and Cherkasy regions.

These high-mobility medical vehicles will enable the rescue of victims of armed aggression, provide rapid transportation to stabilization points, and offer emergency assistance in critical situations.

The all-terrain vehicles are equipped with a full set of medical equipment designed for use in remote areas with damaged roads, inaccessible to standard ambulances.

“Our main goal is to protect the health and lives of Ukrainians. We continue to initiate the arrival of specialized transport to provide necessary assistance to those in need. This time, seven vehicles are heading to different parts of Ukraine for relevant medical units,” said Maria Karchevych, Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development.

Anna Lysenko, President of the Free Ukraine association, noted:

“We are committed to continuously supporting Ukraine and call on the world to unite against Russian aggression. The safety of civilians is our shared responsibility. We urge all organizations and countries to join our initiative to help Ukraine receive more of such vehicles. The heroic efforts of medics in Ukraine need our collective support.”
