A military member and participant of the 'Cultural Forces' in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Oliinyk ('Pianist'), has released a piano music album that he created on the frontlines. He shared this information on his Instagram.

The album of piano miniatures is titled 'Moment'—it consists of 'seven musical stories associated with many experienced emotions.'

'The compositions that have already sounded hundreds of times for defenders—in positions, ruined buildings, fields, hospitals, improvised concert venues. Now they can be listened to on all digital platforms and, for a moment, immerse yourself in these stories,' wrote Mykhailo Oliinyk.

The album is available on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.

A military member from the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Hantsiuk performs several concerts daily on the frontlines as part of the 'Cultural Forces.'

"For me, it is an honor to share creativity with our soldiers. There are moments when you realize that this performance might be the last for someone... It gives weight to every note, every word—spoken or sung. The stories heard and seen on the frontlines, I turn them into musical stories. I want to share them with the audience and remind them that only through joint efforts can we bring Victory closer," shared 'Pianist' about his mission.

Mykhailo Oliinyk is a composer, pianist, and music producer. He received education at the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music named after R. M. Glier and the Lviv National Music Academy named after M. V. Lysenko. He is the founder of the OLI Music company. In April 2023, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
