SkyUp Airlines has announced the launch of direct regular flights from Chișinău (Moldova) to popular European destinations for Ukrainians, as reported by the European Truth
Flights are set to begin in April 2025, with tickets available for booking starting December 11, 2024.
The routes will include cities in Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, and Cyprus, such as Paris, Lisbon, Barcelona, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Larnaca, Thessaloniki, and Heraklion.
Due to the closure of Ukrainian airspace for civilian aviation, SkyUp selected Chișinău Airport as the closest international hub to Ukraine.
Flight schedule from Chișinău:
- Paris, France (BVA): Monday, Friday
- Lisbon, Portugal (LIS): Friday
- Barcelona, Spain (BCN): Wednesday (with plans to increase frequency)
- Alicante, Spain (ALC): Monday, Friday
- Palma de Mallorca, Spain (PMI): Wednesday, Saturday
- Larnaca, Cyprus (LCA): Three times a week
- Thessaloniki, Greece (SKG): Tuesday
- Heraklion, Greece (HER): Monday, Wednesday, Saturday (with plans to add a fourth flight weekly)
SkyUp Airlines is a Ukrainian airline established in Ukraine in June 2017, represented in Europe. In May 2023, after being certified in Malta as SkyUp MT, the company obtained an Air Operator Certificate (AOC), Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization certificate (CAMO) and an Air Operator License (AOL).
