On the night of June 20 (starting at 11:00 p.m. on June 19), the Russian forces launched an attack using 86 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Millerovo, Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as Chauda in occupied Crimea.
The aerial assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) and drone system units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 08:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defense had neutralized 70 Shahed-type and other drones in the northern, eastern, and southern regions of the country. Of these, 34 were shot down by kinetic weapons, and 36 were suppressed or lost due to electronic warfare.
Confirmed impacts of Russian aerial weapons were recorded in 8 locations, with debris from downed drones falling in 11 other areas.
