On the night of July 23 (from 8:00 PM on July 22), the Russian forces launched 71 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (occupied Crimea).
The attacks targeted Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions.
Preliminary data as of 9:00 AM reports that air defense shot down or suppressed 27 Shahed drones (and other types of drones) in the north, east, and center of the country.
- Additionally, 18 drones were lost due to location issues or suppressed by electronic warfare.
There were confirmed hits by 26 drones in 14 locations, and debris from downed drones fell in 5 locations.
