On the night of March 13, 2025 (starting from 7:00 PM on March 12), the Russian forces launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile from Russia’s Kursk region and attacked with 117 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various other drone decoys from the directions of Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The aerial assault was repelled by aviation, air defense missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 AM, 74 Shahed-type strike UAVs and other drones were confirmed shot down over the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odessa, and Mykolaiv regions.
Additionally, 38 drone decoys were lost from radar tracking with no negative consequences.
As a result of the Russian attack, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Odessa, and Zaporizhzhia regions suffered damage.
