Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, together with Health Minister Viktor Liashko, visited the Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital — one of the largest medical facilities in the region, which is actively being renovated despite the war.

The hospital has been shelled multiple times by the enemy, yet it continues to serve up to 200,000 patients annually. Recently, the hospital has renovated its emergency and diagnostic departments, purchased modern equipment, and established a rehabilitation center that is already admitting patients.

In light of security challenges, a unique underground medical facility is being constructed. It will house operating rooms, intensive care units, and laboratories.

“This will allow us to provide medical care even during shelling. The Kharkiv Regional Hospital is an example of how we are restoring and modernizing destroyed infrastructure. People must receive quality medical care under any circumstances,” emphasized the Head of Government.
