On February 24, in commemoration of the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, two significant cultural events will take place in Copenhagen featuring the National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata."

At 4:00 PM, a service will be held at the Holmen Church, supported by the Parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark, in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. His Majesty King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark, Speaker of the Danish Parliament Søren Gede, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Denmark, Andrii Yanevskyi, will be among the participants.

As part of the event, Kyiv Camerata will perform works by prominent Ukrainian composers, including Yuriy Shevchenko, Viktoriya Polyova, and Valentyn Sylvestrov. Danish pianist Elizabeth Nielsen will also join the performance.

At 5:30 PM, as part of an event organized by the Ukrainian House in Denmark and the Danish Cultural Institute, the ensemble will present a program featuring the best works of Ukrainian composers. These include: the overture and "Dances of Spirits and Furies" from the opera "Alcide" by Dmytro Bortnyansky, "City of Mary" by Zoltan Almashi, "Chorale" by Hanna Havrylets, "Melody" by Borys Lyatoshynsky, "Allegro" by Yuliy Meitus, "Sketch in Moldavian Style" by Levko Kolodub, "Elegy," "Carpathian Rhapsody," and "Melody" by Myroslav Skoryk, and "Songs of the Unborn" for rocket, voice, and strings by Roman Hryhoriv.

The highlight of the evening will be the performance of Roman Hryhoriv's "Song of the Unborn." A unique feature of this composition is that part of it is performed on the body of a Russian "Uragan" cluster bomb that fell on Ukrainian soil. "Songs of the Unborn" carries a paradoxical meaning – it is a kind of requiem, but also a symbol of hope for a peaceful and bright future.

The VOICES OF DIGNITY: DEFENDING UKRAINE - a commemorative poetry and music event will feature a striking exhibition of Ukrainian literary posters created by Odesa City Letters.

The collection brings together over 50 printed posters and nearly 20 large-scale textile prints, showcasing poetry by Ukrainian writers across generations - those who have fought for Ukraine's independence and preserved its cultural identity.

These poetic voices range from writers who perished in the struggle to those currently defending their homeland on the frontlines. Through bold typography, textiles, and media projections, their words take on new life, creating a powerful visual and emotional experience.

The exhibition demonstrates how literature and graphic design unite to amplify the enduring power of words in Ukraine's fight for freedom and cultural survival.

Experience it on February 24, 17:30 at Ukraine House in Denmark
