On June 10, the Donetsk Regional Academic Drama Theater (Mariupol) will set off for the international theater festival BABEL F.A.S.T 2024 in the Romanian city of Târgoviște, located near Bucharest.
Our theater has been participating in this festival for the second year in a row after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation. This demonstrates the resilience and unbreakable spirit of the Ukrainian people, as well as the actors' desire to convey Ukrainian culture and art to a global audience.
The festival is not held for the first time, and theaters from about 20 countries around the world take part in it.
At the BABEL F.A.S.T 2024 festival, the Donetsk Regional Academic Drama Theater (Mariupol) will present the storytelling performance "Mariupol Drama," which will be presented to the audience on June 13 at 8:00 PM local time.
