Ukraine's defence technology cluster Brave1 has launched a new investment platform designed to connect Ukrainian defence startups with potential investors and help companies secure funding for the development and production of military technologies.
The platform, Brave1 Invest, allows defence manufacturers to present their technologies, outline their investment needs and establish contacts with investors interested in Ukraine's defence industry.
To join the platform, companies must create a profile describing their products and technologies, the amount of funding they are seeking and their current fundraising stage.

Applications are reviewed by the Brave1 team before publication. Companies can also receive assistance in preparing or improving their investment presentations and pitch decks.
Once approved, startups are included in a catalogue available to registered investors.
Investors must undergo a separate registration and verification process, providing information about their preferred technologies, investment priorities and the amounts they are prepared to commit.
The screening process includes checks for potential connections to Russia and its allies.
Approved investors can browse Ukrainian defence companies seeking capital, although access to detailed business information and pitch decks requires an additional request.
The platform is intended to simplify contacts between defence technology developers and investors while providing an additional layer of security for companies operating in Ukraine's defence sector.
Brave1 Invest also aims to help Ukrainian manufacturers move beyond initial product development by improving their access to private investment and potential international partnerships.
