The company Rekava will represent Ukraine at the global design exhibition in Paris.
The Maison&Objet exhibition is like participating in the Olympics of design, according to the team. Every year, this event showcases the works of world-renowned designers, decorators, fashion designers, and architects, including brands like Hermes, Fendi Casa, and Versace Home.
This year, the exhibition will take place from September 5 to 9, and Rekava will be the sole representative of home fragrances from Ukraine. The company is known for producing candles in biodegradable cups made from coffee grounds.
"Every two espresso cups become one new candle container," says the team.
For the exhibition, they are preparing a collection of candles with symbolic scents from around the world. For example, Paris with a lily fragrance and Amsterdam with a tulip scent. A unique feature of these candles is that when they burn out, the container can be used to plant marigolds.
This collection aligns with the company’s main idea: previously, the team created candles with scents representing all Ukrainian regional centers and Crimea.
