We invite you to the opening of Anna Holubovska’s exhibition “Centers of Gravity” on May 8 at 16:00 at the Eastern and Western Art Museum.

What does courage under pressure look like?

Anna Holubovska answers this question with black-and-white frames of a city that cannot be broken.

In 78 film photographs, Odessa emerges as a city that has endured, that breathes culture, and that preserves itself, its people, and the light in the darkness.

“Centers of Gravity” consists of 11 chapters about life during war: from destruction to tango, from silence to the circus.

Photographs that say more in silence than words ever could.

The exhibition is created in collaboration with curator Eugenio Alberti Schatz.

Especially for the occasion — a video presentation featuring over 100 images, texts, and music by Steve Piccolo.
Come and see the Odesa that holds on — and holds us together.

Opening: May 8 at 16:00 — free admission.

After that:

From 12:00 to 18:00 (Ticket office open until 17:30)
