New Year's holidays are just around the corner, which means it's time to choose gifts. Before the New Year in Odessa, there is a boom of fairs. Find much more than presents and stocking fillers at these magical Christmas markets in Odessa.

Find the perfect Christmas gifts for loved ones and enjoy plenty of street food, twinkles and entertainment throughout the festive season at Odessa's most popular Christmas markets.

The locations below annually host some of the top Christmas markets in the city, which usually stay open until the New Year and even a little bit after.

Primorsky Boulevard Fair

Traditionally, a festive fair opens before the New Year, not far from the main City Christmas tree on Primorsky Boulevard. Now at the fair venue, wooden booths have already been installed, which usually sell New Year's goods and delicacies. The fair is already working and will close only after the Old New Year.

Please note that the fair is closed in the morning. The cabins begin to open after three to four o'clock in the afternoon and work until the night.

Amble past the traditional wooden chalets lining the boulevard and pick up gorgeous stocking fillers from the Winter Market. Or, tuck into traditional ukrainian food and mulled wine.

Deribasovskaya Street Fair

The fair on Deribasovskaya street is open all year round. The citizens are already accustomed to seeing cabins with various goods in the center of Odessa. However, before the New Year, this fair turns into one of the coziest and atmospheric places in the city, where even in frosty weather, you can warm yourself up with scalding mulled wine and choose original souvenirs for a gift.

The most colorful fair is located on the territory of Kircha (German Lutheran Church). To find it, you need to pay attention to the open black gate to the right of the central entrance to Kirhu. Note that after December 27, all the cabins will be closed.

The fair is presenting the traditional Christmas treats: mulled wine, stollens, gingerbread, grilled sausages, craft cheeses, pretzels, a variety of pastries, etc.

At the Fair you can buy a variety of Christmas decorations (wreaths, Christmas ornaments), handicrafts, dolls and other toys, decoupage-style items, and many other lovely little things.

Also, during the fair there will be performances of poets, writers, bards, a fair of children's creativity, art master classes and much more!

Crimean Boulevard Fair

For residents of Kotovsky district, a fair was also opened. Browse the traditional market filled with a wonderful array of crafts and tempting treats.

A concert programme, performances, master classes for children, an exhibition of hand-made products, a fair of craft products, and traditional New Year treats await the guests of the Fair.

"Magic Cristmas" Fair

Residents of the Tairov district have the opportunity to choose gifts at the festive "Magic Cristmas" Fair . But it will work only before the New Year and on Orthodox Christmas, from December 30 and January 5-6. This outdoor market will bring fairground rides for kids and adults
