Ukrainian forces have dealt significant blows to Russian military infrastructure, complicating Russia's use of the Sevastopol naval base in occupied Crimea.

According to a statement from Oleksii Neizhpapa, Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, shared via Facebook, Ukrainian missile and unmanned maritime systems have successfully targeted around 50 Russian military sites over the past year. These include:

  • Military airfields
  • Ammunition and fuel storage depots
  • Facilities for storing and producing Shahed drones
  • Air defense systems
  • Logistic hubs
  • Enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex

As a result, Russia's Black Sea Fleet has had to relocate most of its combat vessels, including all carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, to Novorossiysk. Ukrainian actions have also restricted the maneuverability of Russian ships in the Sea of Azov, forcing them to retreat to bases in Russia's Krasnodar region.

"Our defenders have disrupted Russia's ability to operate freely in these critical maritime areas," Neizhpapa stated, emphasizing the impact of Ukraine's strategic strikes in degrading the enemy's operational capacity.

These efforts highlight Ukraine's resolve to weaken Russian forces and reclaim occupied territories.
