On July 8, Czech defense company Excalibur Army announced the opening of its representative office in Ukraine, according to the company's website.

The company stated that this step is aimed at “strengthening local cooperation, optimizing logistics, and launching joint defense production on Ukrainian territory.”

“With the new office, our company aims to expand its presence and intensify cooperation with Ukrainian defense and industry partners. Thanks to the collaboration with the Ukrainian Armor company we have already prepared the project for the local production of large calibre ammunition,” the statement reads.

The Ukrainian office will handle orders, documentation, and technical consultations, allowing for significantly faster response time and more agile operations.

“As member of the Czechoslovak Group (CSG), we have played a crucial role in supplying weapons and military equipment to Ukraine since the earliest days of the conflict with the Russian Federation. We have delivered more than thousand land systems, including tanks, IFVs, artillery systems and rocket launchers and over two million rounds of large calibre ammunition to Ukraine,” the company emphasized.
