Russian troops are persistently trying to advance in the Pokrovsk direction, where they are concentrating their main efforts. However, the oRussian forces are exhausted, facing a shortage of drones and manpower.

This was reported by Viktor Tregubov, spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, during a national telethon broadcast.

According to Tregubov, the Russian troops continues to exert pressure on the front. The Pokrovsk sector remains the primary focus, followed by the Novopavlivka direction. Additionally, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are still attempting to advance in the Kupiansk sector.

"The main efforts are concentrated on Pokrovsk. The Russians' strategic objective is clear: in the south, they aim to bypass Pokrovsk from the west, while in the east, they seek to form a large pincers movement around Kostiantynivka. However, both objectives remain far from being achieved. In Pokrovsk, their key direction, we see that the Russians are exhausting their resources, and they are not even trying to hide it," Tregubov explained.

He added that Russian forces are facing shortages of drones and other military equipment.

"Despite widespread Russian propaganda, some individuals cannot completely conceal the reality. They frequently admit that, yes, there is a shortage of drones, yes, there is a lack of personnel and skilled troops," Tregubov noted.

For several months, Russian forces have been trying to break through Ukrainian defenses in the Pokrovsk direction, making it one of the most challenging sectors of the front.

Tregubov stated that the Russians are attempting to bypass Pokrovsk from the south, with their tactic aimed at cutting off Ukrainian troops from supply lines.

Additionally, Russian forces continue their efforts to advance toward the highway leading to Dnipro, seeking to disrupt Ukrainian logistics and reinforcements.
