Ukrainian forces have pushed back Russian troops near the villages of Maliivka, Sichneve, Novoheorhiivka, and Zaporizke in Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk region, according to the OSINT project DeepState.

"The Defense Forces of Ukraine have pushed the enemy back near Maliivka, Sichneve, Novoheorhiivka, and Zaporizke," the project said in a Telegram post.

DeepState maps show that 33.37 square kilometers of territory along the border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, which had previously been occupied by Russian forces, have moved into the so-called "penetration zone" (grey zone).

In particular, Novoheorhiivka, which had previously been fully occupied, is now entirely within the grey zone. Parts of Maliivka and Zaporizke have also moved into the grey zone, along with the outskirts of the village of Komyshuvakha in Donetsk region and the villages of Vorone and Ternove in Dnipropetrovsk region.

"The reduction of territories controlled by the enemy is the result of successful actions by units of the Defense Forces. For now, the enemy is still being recorded in the rear areas, so an update with the blue zone (territories that have been fully liberated) will come later," analysts said.

At the same time, Russian forces expanded the grey zone by 3.48 square kilometers in the Sumy direction toward the villages of Korchakivka and Nova Sich, taking territory that had previously been under stable control of the Defense Forces. However, there has been no increase in the area of Russian-occupied territory.

No changes were reported on other fronts over the past day.
