A meeting took place in Washington between Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. The parties discussed key areas of cooperation.
"We continue working on the joint EFF programme. We are grateful for the seven successful programme reviews, which allowed us to attract more than $10 billion," stated the Head of the Ukrainian Government.
Additionally, Denys Shmyhal and Kristalina Georgieva discussed further support for Ukraine in 2025-2026.
"Ukraine is committed to the reforms we are implementing in collaboration with the IMF," emphasized the Prime Minister and thanked Kristalina Georgieva and the Fund for their consistent support and leadership in coordinating financial assistance for our country, totaling over $150 billion.
