The heads of government met the first 4 Leopard 2 tanks provided by Poland and greeted Ukrainian tank crew members who already had successful combat experience.

“A year ago, tanks entered Ukraine to deprive Ukrainians of their freedom. Today, tanks have also entered Ukraine, but to protect freedom. We thank our military for their reliable protection. We are grateful to Poland and all our partners for taking decisive steps to bring Ukraine’s victory closer. Under the leadership of the President of Ukraine, we continue to expand the tank coalition to bring freedom back to all Ukrainian territories,” said Denys Shmyhal.
