Russian forces this night launched cruise missiles from the Black Sea for the third time since the beginning of the year, marking the largest attack of the year so far—almost 20 missiles.

This was stated by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, during a live broadcast.

"The Russians used their usual tactic: exit the bay, strike, and return... This is the third use of cruise missile carriers since the start of the year. One time was in January, another in February, and now the March launch. To say that they are actively using them (missile carriers) would not be entirely accurate. However, since the beginning of the year, this has been their most massive use: nearly twenty missiles launched from the Black Sea," said Pletenchuk.

He noted that this year, in general, Russian activity has been lower.

The spokesperson for the Navy also mentioned that as of the morning, there were three Russian missile carriers in the Black Sea, two of which were equipped.
