This morning, February 25, the enemy attacked the regional center with Shahed drones. As a result of one Russian UAV crashing and detonating, windows in apartment buildings were damaged.
Additionally, the Russian forces launched an airstrike using a Shahed drone on the Khotin community. The consequences of the attack are still being assessed.
In Sumy, the drone strike shattered 148 windows in damaged apartment buildings. In one of the affected buildings, the body of a woman was found—circumstances of her death are being investigated.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional State Emergency Service.
"Rescuers in Sumy surveyed the area hit by the drone strike on the morning of February 25. Emergency service personnel arrived at the impact sites immediately, conducted inspections, and provided urgent assistance to residents. The blast wave shattered 148 windows in three apartment buildings and other structures," the report states.
