The Finnish charitable organization Pro patria Suomi-Ukraina Ry, with support from the Lions Club, as well as the Ukrainian community organizations in Finland and Tampere, have donated six ambulances equipped with all necessary medical supplies and equipment to the Dobrobut Foundation (established by the Dobrobut medical network).

This information was reported by Igor Mazepa, the CEO of the investment company Concorde Capital.

The total value of the equipment and vehicles is approximately 150,000 euros. The handover of the ambulances from Finnish donors took place in Kyiv at the Dobrobut Medical Center, located at 3 Idzikovsky Street, with the participation of the Ambassador of Finland to Ukraine Jaakko Lehtovirta, the co-owners of the Dobrobut medical network Oleh Kalashnikov and Igor Mazepa, as well as the director of the Dobrobut Foundation, Dmytro Hrossu.

Mazepa stated that the Dobrobut Foundation will deploy these ambulances to eastern Ukraine to aid defenders and civilians affected by enemy shelling.

The ambulances are fully equipped with specialized medical equipment, including defibrillators, ventilators, stretchers, oxygen cylinders, and more. This equipment will allow not only the transportation of critically injured individuals to medical facilities but also the provision of necessary assistance during transport.

The ambulances themselves were transported to Ukraine from the Finnish city of Nokia by members of the Lions Club, covering a distance of over 1600 km.

Additionally, in cooperation with the Dobrobut Foundation and sponsored by the Ukrainian community in Finland, all six ambulances received new medical equipment worth over 23,000 euros. Furthermore, Pro patria Suomi-Ukraina Ry, together with the Ukrainian community in Tampere, donated approximately two tons of humanitarian aid.

"We are very pleased to have a reliable partner in Ukraine - the Dobrobut Foundation. Thanks to our cooperation, we are confident that humanitarian aid, supported financially by our main partner Lions Club, as well as with the participation of the Ukrainian community in Finland and Tampere, will reach exactly where it is needed," shared Tommy Torme, a member of the Lions Club, co-founder, and co-chair of Pro patria Suomi-Ukraina Ry.

"I never cease to be amazed at how the desire to help Ukrainians unites people and organizations from different parts of the world. I am very pleased that the joint efforts of the Dobrobut Foundation team, Lions Club, Pro patria Suomi-Ukraina Ry, the Ukrainian community in Finland, the Ukrainian community in Tampere, and our Ukrainian partner will help provide our defenders with ambulances and medical supplies," stated Dmytro Hrossu, Director of the Dobrobut Foundation.

Recall that last year, the charitable foundation of the Dobrobut medical network received a truckload of medical instruments, disposable items, furniture, and newborn kits from Pro patria Suomi-Ukraina Ry.

All the equipment was handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs hospital, the charitable foundation "Slovyanska Mriya," which cares for people in the frontline areas, and internally displaced persons in need.
