Two gantry cranes were purchased by the State-owned enterprise Sea Trade Port Yuzhny (MTP Yuzhny) from Finland.
The equipment will be supplied by the Finnish manufacturing company Mantsinen Group Ltd OY, the press service of the State Enterprise reported.
“Today, there are no analogues of this technique in Ukraine. Soon, modern equipment will be used at the berths of the state stevedore for processing iron ore concentrate, pellets and coal,†the port noted.
The State-owned enterprise purchased from the manufacturing company a full-turn hydraulic gantry loader with an autonomous movement system in the Mantsinen 300ES/1 set and a full-turn hydraulic gantry loader loader in the Mantsinen 300ES/2 set. The amount of the contract is UAH 290.9 million. The new equipment will appear at Yuzhny port by the end of this year.
The capacity of each loader is 20,000 tons per day. The carrying capacity, with a lifting height of 22 meters and an outreach of 25 meters, is 20 tons. The maximum boom reach is 40 meters. The new cranes are supplied with 4.6 and 12 cubic meters grapples. m, hook suspensions, spare parts kits, as well as a diesel generator set for autonomous movement.
This year we plan to purchase new bucket and forklifts, a modern Liebherr LH-60 hydraulic loader and other equipment and machinery.
