On December 8, 2025, the officials General Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) in the Odessa region met with Member of the Parliament of the French Republic, Frédéric Petit, accompanied by a member of the Rotary Club of Odessa International, Frédéric Panier.
The purpose of the visit was to learn about the work of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region during the war and to discuss the prospects for cooperation with the French fire brigade in the field of civil protection.
The French MP enriched his visit by also meeting with the city's French community and representatives of Odessa's art and culture scene.
