The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that during their offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon, they captured 85,000 units of military equipment, weapons, and ammunition.
This was reported by the IDF press service.
Here is the full list of what Israeli forces took from Lebanon (figures are approximate):
- 6,840 launchers for anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), RPGs, and grenade launchers;
- 9,000 explosive devices;
- 60,800 communication devices, electronics, computers, etc.;
- 2,250 rockets and artillery shells;
- 2,700 small arms;
- 2,860 other various weapons;
- 300 binoculars and surveillance equipment;
- 60 missiles for air defense systems (SAMs) and man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS);
- 20 vehicles.
All of these items were transferred for study and reconnaissance. Typically, once the research is complete, the captured equipment, ammunition, weapons, and other items are put on display at exhibitions organized by the IDF.
