The strategic aviation of the Russian Federation is dispersed at different airfields, the aircraft of this group may be in readiness for the use of missile weapons.

Yuriy Ignat, the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on the telethon air, answering a question about the tactics of the Russians in the air.

“Strategic aviation, which is dispersed at different airfields, has not gone anywhere. I mean Tu-95 aircraft, which may be ready to use missile weapons, because at least 12 aircraft are observed at these airfields, they can attack Ukraine ", he noted.

In addition, Ignat also added that tactical aviation of the Russian Federation is also working at the front.

"The threat of missile attacks has not disappeared anywhere. They attack constantly - we are talking about helicopters and attack aircraft," the speaker said.

Also, when asked what the maneuvers of the Russian Federation are connected with, such as the transfer of several aircraft fighters deep into Russia from Belarus, he noted that certain things are not happening for the first time.

For example, when 20-minute air alerts are observed during a MiG takeoff, this may indicate training flights.

“And when these several MiGs that are located there fly away from Belarus, it may be a banal rotation, some technical issues. Perhaps these aircraft also fly to their fixed airfields, where they are based,” Yury Ignat informed.
