On the morning of Saturday, April 12, as a result of a direct hit by a Russian drone, a warehouse of the Kusum pharmaceutical group (Gledfarm LTD warehouse) in Kyiv was completely destroyed. This was reported by the press service of the group on Monday, April 14.

The warehouse contained finished medicines, pharmaceutical substances, excipients for the production of medicines, as well as new production equipment. The total damage is estimated at approximately 1 billion UAH.

"This is a serious financial loss for the company, but the most important thing is that none of our employees were harmed," said Kusum. The statement emphasizes that the Kusum pharmaceutical group strongly condemns the terrorist activities of Russian aggressors, who deliberately target critical civilian infrastructure, including enterprises that provide the population with vital medicines.

The Kusum group was founded in 1994 in India, and currently employs over 2,000 specialists in India, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Mexico, Moldova, the Philippines, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. The group operates three factories in India and one in Ukraine. To date, more than 60 medicines produced by Kusum Pharm LLC are registered with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

In Ukraine, the company specializes in the development and production of medicines for the treatment of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and endocrine (including diabetes) diseases.

According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv, a fire broke out in the warehouse on an area of 1,500 square meters in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital due to the enemy attack on April 12.
