Russian forces have once again attacked an energy facility in the Odessa region, marking the seventh strike on the region's energy infrastructure in three weeks.

The Russian forces launched an attack on a DTEK energy facility in the Odessa region on the evening of March 7.

"This is the seventh strike on the region's energy system in three weeks. Energy workers are working around the clock to mitigate the consequences of the shelling," the statement reads.

Oleg Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported a massive drone attack on the region on the evening of March 7. He noted that the Russian troops once again struck Odessa’s civilian and energy infrastructure.

The State Emergency Service clarified that as a result of the massive drone attack, fires broke out in Odessa. A warehouse with agricultural machinery, a car service building, a car shop, and a four-story industrial building were all engulfed in flames. In addition, critical infrastructure was damaged.
