A Forum on Partnership between the USA and Ukraine will take place in Washington

The U.S. Department of State, USAID, and the U.S. Department of Commerce, in partnership with the Ukrainian government and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will hold the U.S.-Ukraine Partnership Forum 2024 on April 17 at the Chamber headquarters in Washington.

The forum will bring together business leaders, government officials, and policymakers to jointly explore how best to assist Ukraine in rebuilding its economy.

Alongside Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and Prime Minister of Ukraine H.E. Denys Shmyhal, Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker will deliver keynote remarks at the Forum. Under Secretary Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Jose W. Fernandez and Coordinator for U.S. Assistance to Europe, Eurasia, and Central Asia Maria Longi will participate in panels focusing on economic recovery in Ukraine.

Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker will also cohost a roundtable discussion with the Government of Ukraine and U.S. government leadership on opportunities and challenges in investing in Ukraine’s agricultural sector. This discussion will be closed to the press.

Earlier, it was reported that the U.S. State Department, in collaboration with the German Marshall Fund, announced the creation of the Ukrainian City Partnership to support the sustainable rebuilding of infrastructure. This new public-private partnership will help Ukrainians redesign and rebuild resilient, inclusive, and strong cities.
