Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showed a gift that a girl from Finland made especially for him. On St. Nicholas Day, he received blue and yellow knitted socks.
"This is a gift from 14-year-old Henrikka from Finland. After the outbreak of a full-scale war, she decided to help our people in any way she could. Therefore, with her own hands, she began to knit warm woolen socks, sell them and donate the money earned to support Ukraine. By the request of the girl, one of these pairs reached me. Thanks to Henrikka and her grandfather Antti Puyola," Zelensky wrote.
He added that each such story inspires and gives strength to move on.
"Believe in your dreams and the dreams of others, in goodness, peace, love, justice, that they will definitely win. This means that Ukraine will win, too," the president summed up.
