Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Brusylо met with Italy’s Special Representative for Ukraine’s Reconstruction, Davide La Cecilia, and the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Ukraine, Carlo Formosa.

The meeting focused on key stages of preparation for the international Ukraine Recovery Conference, scheduled for July 10–11 in Rome. Special attention was given to coordination between the Ukrainian and Italian sides, the thematic content of the event, and the involvement of international partners, business representatives, and civil society.

It was emphasized that a broad range of participants should be represented—both at the level of state leaders and governments, and among business circles of partner countries. This is crucial for the implementation of practical reconstruction projects in Ukraine.

During the discussion of the conference agenda, both parties highlighted the importance of integrating the cultural sector into the recovery process. This includes presenting projects aimed at preserving and restoring cultural monuments damaged by Russian aggression, and drawing greater international attention to the protection of Ukraine's cultural heritage.

The sides also discussed the organization of thematic platforms and side events within the conference framework, which will help effectively present Ukraine’s recovery priorities and attract potential investors.

Ihor Brusylо expressed gratitude to Italy for initiating the conference in Rome and for its active efforts to ensure a high-level event.
